Sobeys Inc was found by john W. Sobeys in 1907 in Stellarton, Nova scotia. It started off as a meat delivery business but in 1924 frank john's son convinced him to turn the business in to a grocery business. Sobeys is the second largest retailers in Canada providing food Canadians need in all 10 provinces with over 1500 locations under retail banners that include Sobeys,Safeway,IGA,Food land,Fresh Co,Price chopper as well as more than 330 retail fuel locations.
